Gymnastics Class

Pappaw Don & Nana Jane gave Marilyn Gymnastic lessons for her birthday, and the class started last week. She is in the "Turtle" class, which is a Mommy & Me style. There are six little ones in her class from 18-36 mos. There is a little course that they work through, and then they have the option to bounce, run and play on the trampolines. She had a great time bouncing and playing but her Olympic talent on the balance beam and bars have not yet developed- but it was her first day.

She has been practicing her forward rolls at home and hopes to blow them away this week. Thankfully this is an 8 week session, so she will have time to get the moves down. Since Gymnastics is a little hard to say, I have taken it to calling it her "Turtle Class"- I think at first she thought we were going to the zoo.. oops!

Indiana State Fair

We had a beautiful evening for the fair, and we had a blast. Marilyn enjoyed the animal areas, but I think she was most enthralled with the tractors. Every time a tractor went by she got excited and made her "beep beep". The lights and attractions were fun to see, but the yummy smells were my favorite.

Thanks Brett for the pictures!

A Day at the Lake

At the beginning of August, we went to the lakehouse to celebrate Mom & Hunter's birthdays (Aug 4). It was a nice day for relaxing with family and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Getting comfortable driving the boat...

Going fast! The perfect picture of Marilyn- this truly captures her adventurous personality and her fearless attitude.
